Key Statistics
Monitoring and evaluation is a vital part of the schools programme and is used to highlight the impact we are having with the young people we are working with. In previous years SOHK have struggled to collect and analysis consistent data across all of our schools as each school have slightly different behaviour and reporting policies and systems.
This has made it difficult to collate and present the national impact of the programme. With the growth in the schools programme this has become even more of a challenge, we have therefore amended our Monitoring and Evaluation to focus on capturing the students’ progress in their SOHK sessions, along with additional support from Students, Teachers and Parent testimonials.
Students weekly engagement and attendance is collected along with termly questionnaires on students well-being and their improvement and understanding of life skills using the SOHK 5C’s framework. The schools personal development and rugby sessions have been designed to help students focus and improve on these 5C’s Confidence, Commitment, Communication, Control, and Cohesion.
